A coffee with… Adelle Hudson

If you’re a regular blog reader, you’ll have already seen our latest news singing Adelle’s praises as she recently donated stem cells.

We thought there’s no better time to chat with Assistant Finance Manager Adelle Hudson to find out more about her and why she loves it here at Romero.

Do you enjoy working at Romero?

Absolutely, it’s the best job I’ve had.

What’s been your favourite thing about being here?

I love the family feel and the focus on wellbeing is immense!

If you had to sum up your role in one sentence, what would it be?

It’s a juggling act. We ensure clients are happy and supported, whilst making sure that everything is 100% accurate.

What has surprised you most about working here?

How caring and supportive people are from reception to the running club. Everyone here is wonderful.

Where are you in 5 years’ time?

I would love to be a qualified (or nearly) as a management accountant.

What drives you to succeed?

I want to make people’s jobs easier by improving and streamlining work. That’s why it’s great to be an Assistant Finance Manager, I can really make a difference to my team’s work life.

Sum yourself up in 5 words.

Caring, geeky, perfectionist, sensitive over-thinker.

What’s your perfect Sunday?

I’d have an early start ironing whilst listening to music. I’d then have a big roast dinner with my family.

If you were a biscuit, what would you be and why?

Chocolate bourbon. Tough on the outside but soft on the inside. The chocolatier the better!

What’s your pet hate?

I really dislike noisy eaters. Loud chewing or crunching is just annoying.

If you were stranded on a desert island and could take one book, one luxury and one song, what would they be?

Sudoku book, my pillow and Jive Bunny – That’s What I Like
